Happy St. Patricks Day from Alex and Addie
While mommy and daddy were out of town, Addie and Alex spent their first St. Patricks Day with Grandpa and Grandma. They enjoyed speding time in their first St. Patricks day outfits. Grandpa bought the twins 1st St. Patricks Day bibs, but mommy was bad and forgot to pack them!!!!!!!! So, they will still get good use out of them later as we go through about 100 bibs a week :) As you can see, Addie and Alex enjoy being super close to eachother. It is getting more and more fun to watch how they move themselves to be so close! Enjoy the pictures!

As you can see in the picture, even though Addie is so small, she does great holding her head up. Alex is ready for the picture here! Can you see Addie trying to hold onto Alex? How cute!

Addie says, Awwww I love my brother, Alex!

Here is Addie in her Easter dress. It is a good thing that she wore it for the picture as it was a snowy/cold Easter this year!

Addie poses for the camera...... Is she cute, or what?

Believe it or not, we had a hard time getting Alex to stay awake for the pictures. By the time that we were done, he was ready to snooze...........

Mr. Personality himself!

Addie and Alex at 13 weeks old...........

There is not tons to update you on, but here are some pictures from the week before Easter. Enjoy!

Addie and Alex are both doing great and getting so big. I hope to have time over the weekend to post more pictures and update more.....

New Home to Be

Mommy and Daddy left us last weekend to be all by ourselves with grandma and grandpa so they could find us our new home in Huntsville, AL. How much fun we had! Grandma and Grandpa took us for our first trip to Cracker Barrel and Hooters.

While we were having fun with Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad were busy looking for a new home for us when we move to Huntsville, AL. Their goal was to find the right home in just one weekend and they did. Mommy and daddy said they were quite tired after the first day. They had to get up very early to catch a 6 AM flight on Saturday and by noon they were looking at the first house. After 12 homes, they finally finished up around 8 that night.

On Sunday, they started out again by noon and looked at a few more homes. Finally, at 4 PM, they made an offer on the home of their choice. At 5:30 PM, the seller countered and mom and dad made another offer back. Finally, at 7 PM it was a done deal. Here are some pictures.

We are 12 Weeks Old Today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex and Addie are getting so big! It is hard to believe that they are already 12 weeks old. Addie is totally out of preemie and newborn and is in 0-3 month clothes. Alex is almost out of 0-3 month clothes and moving on. I can't wait to go back to the doctor to see how much they weigh!
There is really nothing new to report. But, I do have some recent photos to share. Daddy is out of town this week, so mommy has been manning the fort. This weekend Alex and Addie will be staying with grandma and grandpa as mommy and daddy are traveling to find our new home in Alabama. We will keep you posted on what we find. We are hoping to find a really nice community to start our new family!

Last night, I had to get these outfits on the kids. These are newborn and are so snug. But, I thought that they are just so cute! These came from our twin friends Drew and Jake that live in Baltimore!!!!!!!! Thanks.... Can you tell which one is which? I am telling you that it will not be long as Addie is catching up..

Mr. Personality was not serious this evening. He wanted to show you his smile:)

Addie was starved and ready to eat. Therefore, it was hard to get her to smile...

Can you tell who this is? This is Addie! She is getting to be such a big girl!

Valerie came to visit the twins this past weekend!!!!!!!!

As of right now, that is all that is new! We are looking forward to having more visitiors before we move in May. Take care and we'll write more later!

Getting Bigger Everyday!

It has been a very busy week here at our house. Daddy was in town, so that was nice!
Mommy had a dentist appointment this week and also had to have a root canal on Thursday.
On Wednesday night, Daddy and Mommy took the kids out to dinner. Then, on Thursday night, mommy, daddy, uncle mike and cassie all went to Outback Steakhouse with the twins. Taking them anywhere is a challenge, but taking them to dinner, is not all that bad. They normally sleep the whole time! Here are some pictures from this week. Enjoy!

Mommy holds Addie and Alex after her root canal on Thursday....... It is hard to get them both to sit still at the same time.

Addie sits in the Bumbo Chair. She does a great job holding her head up. She is getting stronger everyday.

Addie is resting in the bumbo chair. We are planning on getting Alex his own bumbo this weekend.

Here is Alex and Addie during twin time on Thursday. This was hillarious.
Just when mommy thought that she could get something done, she was wrong!
I walked over to check on the two of them and they were kissing.... How funny! No matter how far apart you put them, they end up right next to eachother. I can't do this for a long period of time anymore as I am worried that they will suffocate eachother. But, it is just so cute!

Twin Time for Alex and Addie.

Here is the video that you will just LOVE!!!!!!!!! If you remember a few weeks ago, this was the other way around. Alex was taking Addie's pacifier during twin time. Well, today, Addie thought that it was time for payback........ Ha Ha Ha

March Post

Here are pictures from this week. On Tuesday, we had 4 inches of snow. But, this time we did not take Addie and Alex out in the snow. It is too cold!!!!!!
Here are some updates on the babies:
Addie: 7 pounds 8 ounces and 21 inches long
Alex: 9 pounds 14 ounces and was 22 inches long

Alex loves to sit in the bouncey seat! I am having a hard time fitting clothes that fit him. He is getting so big!!!! Who do you think that he looks like here?

Addie is taking all big girl bottles now. She is eating between 3-4 ounces every four hours still. But, she is growing and that is what matters...

Daddy wanted me to post this picture. This was taken from our back deck this morning.

Lots of Visitors

This past weekend, we had beautiful weather. Therefore, people were out and about. Lots of friends and family stopped by to visit Addie and Alex. At one time, I think that we had 6 visitors at a time! Here are some pictures from our visits...

Kami was brave this time and wanted to hold both Alex and Addie at the same time!!!
In these pictures you can really see how much weight they are putting on as well as length.

I had to get a picture of Addie in this sweater. I bought it a long time ago and absolutely love it!
Just when I thought that she would be able to wear it, it is already getting too small......

Alyssa, a friend of mommy and daddy stopped by this weekend. She enjoyed being able to spend time with the twins! She brougth the twins the cutest summer outfits and blankets. Thanks Alyssa!

Great Grandpa is back from Florida and could not believe how big Addie and Alex are getting. He still swears that Addie looks like him!

Alyssa spends time with Alex.

Last week of February Update

Sorry for the delay in posting. Things have been very busy around here!
Both babies are doing great! They are getting so big..... I cannot believe that the month of March is already here. Today, Addie and Alex are 11 weeks old. It is amzing how time flies. Below are some pictures from the last week of February. More pictures coming soon!

Here is Holly holding Alex and Addie. Holly was one of our primary nurses in the NICU. She
was great with our little ones during their stay at the hospital. Holly came for two nights the last week in February to help mommy and daddy out. Mommy and daddy were able to get a whole night sleep while she was here. It was nice! We enjoyed having her over and were glad that she was able to see the little ones.

Alex sits in the new bumbo chair. Yes, I know that it is purple. But, I got a really good deal on it. With twins, I am always looking for deals!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully here soon, he will get one in yellow, green or blue and Addie can use the purple one.

Addie is getting to be such a big girl! It is so cute to see her all dressed up!

Addie sits in the purple bumbo chair. I find it amazing that such a little girl is able to hold her head up so well.
