Lots of Pictures from our trip to the Gardens

I was not kidding when I said that I took lots of pictures at the Gardens. Here are some pictures of some of the beautiful sites to see when visiting the Huntsville Botanical Gardens!
Enjoy.......

July will be the last month for the dinosaur exhibit. There are tons of dinosaur activities for kids right now. This dinosaur was made out of soda cans. Local classrooms made dinosaurs to display throughout the Gardens.

Addie and Alex: Butterfly House at the Gardens May 7, 2008

Addie and Alex visit the Butterfly House!

The Butterfly house at the Botanical Gardens just opened in November 2007. It is gorgeous. I did not find it to be nearly anything like the one in St. Louis. I know for sure that it was not as hott!!!!! The butterflies were beautiful. I thought that the coolest part was the butterfly food that you can put on yourself for the butterflies to land on you! By the end of this tour, Addie was asleep and Alex was still sucking on his thumb!

1st Visit to Huntsville Botanical Gardens: Wednesday May 7th, 2008

Wednesday was a very busy day for all of us! Not only did Alex and Addie attend their first Little Gym class. But, we also met our first set of twins in Huntsville. Mommy's friend Jennifer invited us to the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful day! So, Addie and Alex went to the gardens with mommy, Jennifer, and her twins, Grant and Finn. The boys are adorable! They will be four very soon! We had a great time eating lunch with them at the gardens and touring the new butterfly house. There is so much to do at the gardens that we will have to go back again soon! It was a very warm and sunny day and we could only stay a few hours cause Addie was getting a little sunburn. Thanks to Jennifer, Grant and Finn for inviting us for a wonderful time at the Gardens. We can't wait to get together again soon!!!!!! Stay tuned for lots of pictures from todays adventure!

Alex loves to have his whole fist in his mouth. He has become quite the thumb sucker too.
I think that he has discovered his tounge this week as he is now blowing bubbles and making lots of noises...

Here is little sister, "Addie". She was getting quite pink by the end of our day!

Told you so! He is a thumb sucker!

As "Old Grandma", great grandma would say.... Here is the train!

Check out our new stroller...... May 6th, 2008

Here is the new stroller!!!!! Mommy and daddy bought this stoller long before the twins were even born. The stroller has many nice features. We are still using the snap and go stroller for most walks and trips, but this stroller will be great in a few more months. The other night, we put them in the stroller while we were working on sorting through boxes in the garage. Then, we walked down the street. The stroller is very light weight and easy to use. Thank goodness!

Addie loves to sit in the stroller! She is easily frustrated though when it is not moving!

Alex chills out! It is hard to get a picture of him lately without a pacifier....

Alex and Addie: Twin Time Video May 2nd, 2008

Well, I was a bit nervous as to how Addie and Alex would do in their big beds! Alex had switched over the week before we moved. But, they have not really been seperated since we brought them home. We thought that it would be best though for them each to have thier own room. But, thus far, they go to bed between 9-9:30pm and do not wake up until around 6am. That is great news for us!
